I am currently studying within the Graphic Design program at York for a Bachelor of Design (BDes) degree. The program is a joint program with Sheridan, so I get to travel to Sheridan's Oakville-Trafalgar campus and spend many hours in their labs. I plan to (hopefully) persue a degree in legal studies after I finish an undergrad degree in design. Using that degree, I plan to head towards the direction of copyright/contract law.

FAQ
Personal
Let's get the obvious out of the way. When did you start becoming interested in the arts?
Art has kind of been a prevalent past-time turned into career path. I've been doodling since I can remember; all over my notes, whenever I had nothing to do, or even on the walls! My bedroom wall still has a drawing on it from when I was a kid and just took a pencil and scribbled this random HUGE thing on the wall. Ahaha.

Did you ever take any art classes?
Visual Arts was always a must in highschool, although it wasn't a requirement for University. Currently, I study under York University under the Graphic Design program. I also took private art lessons taught by Mei L. for about two years.

So then do you think your art is from talent? Or did education give you the tools to become an artist?
I'm really not sure if I should call my "abilities" a talent. I've been TOLD I have talent, so I just go with that. :P

Do you have any tips for anyone wanting to practice art?
Take any opportunity you can get. This is my first rule of art. If you miss your chance, that's it, and you may never get it again. Also, immerse yourself into what you love. If you truly love it, you'll know. Practice, and take pride in your education, because it WILL help.

How did you know you would like to get into Graphic Design?
I can't remember what I was looking at, but it was simply this: a wall painted in pure red paint with sharply painted white letters spelling the word "THINK". When you get giddy over something like that, you know.

Why haven't you replied to my email/friend request/question?!?
Chances are...I probably forgot to check my me-mail. I usually reply to all of my emails whenever I'm not..busy.

Your Art
Have you done any tutorials/Walkthroughs for your art?
Nope. I probably will in the future though. Whenever I have the time.

What/Who inspires your work?
As a graphic designer, the world itself influences how I create. Cultural Studies is one of the most important studies to an artist as the culture of society almost dictates what is said through your style and content of your work. As an artist, the amazing thing called the Internet is a heavy influence. It really is an amazing thing.

What programs and tools do you use?
I'm most familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver and InDesign as my tools of trade. I aso use a WACOM Graphire 4x5 tablet for my work. On the traditional side, I'm experienced with oil paints, pastels and drawing pencils.

Do you take commissions?
I would like to, but for now they remain closed. Keep checking back later for a commissions link in the main menu!

Can I use your art/work for ________?
Feel free to use the work for whatever means you need it for. Just remember to provide proper credit for where it came from. I can't stress this enough. All the art on the Internet is not there for you to claim as your personal usable items. If you truly love and appreciate the work, GIVE CREDIT and the world will be happy.

Other Tidbits
Is it true you broke your leg in '07?
It's true. I ended up tearing my ACL after a jump. Had to go through a lot of painful physiotherapy but it was well worth it.

Do you have a Facebook?
Yes, but I probably won't add you unless I know you in real life.

Have you heard of ________?!?!
...You're kidding right?
